Art-Lab is a dynamic, hands-on art week designed to encourage students to experiment, explore, and develop their own artistic voice. Throughout the week, students will engage with a range of creative disciplines, including graffiti and street art, print-making, acrylic painting, and sculptural practice, allowing them to discover new techniques while expressing their unique ideas. Each day introduces a new artistic focus, giving students the opportunity to expand their creative toolkit and build confidence in different mediums. Through guided workshops, experimentation, and collaborative discussion, participants will learn how artists use materials, mark-making, and form to communicate meaning and identity. From bold street art lettering and layered prints to expressive painting and tactile sculpture, Art-Lab encourages curiosity, risk-taking, and creative problem-solving. By the end of the week, students will have produced a series of works that reflect both newly learned techniques and their evolving personal style. Art-Lab is an exciting space for young artists to explore, make, and discover the many ways art can be used to tell their stories. Please bring a packed lunch, snacks and a drink. Please ensure your sun cream is applied in hot weather and you have a raincoat for any wet weather. Fun swimming sessions will also be scheduled during the week, so please also remember your swimming kit. Please book your child into the group for their current school year.
