Exciting experiments, dynamic demos and the chance for any budding scientist to have fun and get hands on in the science labs. A combination of science discovery, investigation, and experiments. This camp is for all those inquisitive minds eager to learn more. MAD SCIENCE will be joining us from Monday 16 February to Friday 20 February with a fantastic new itinerary. All materials, experiments, and equipment will be provided, ensuring a jam-packed and fun experience for every young scientist. Itinerary: • Monday - TERRIFIC TECHNOLOGY: Step into the future as we explore virtual reality vs augmented reality and how they change the way we see the world. Through interactive demos, children will discover how these powerful technologies are used in games, science, and everyday life. • Tuesday - HARNESSING HEAT: Things heat up and cool down as we explore how molecules react to temperature changes. Children will experiment with endothermic and exothermic reactions to see energy in action! • Wednesday - SLIME PARTY: Get ready for squishy, stretchy science as we mix, mash, and test all things slime. Junior slime engineers will design their own unique slime creation, will it be ice-cream slime, dino-poop slime, or something totally new? • Thursday - MIGHTY MICROSCOPES: Discover a hidden world as we explore lenses and learn how microscopes help scientists see the unseen. Children will use real microscopes in hands-on activities to examine tiny details up close. • Friday - LIGHT AND LASERS: Explore how light works and how we see colour through dazzling experiments and laser fun. Jr Scientists will discover different types of light and end the week with a bright burst of science! Please note: This is a stand-alone science camp and does not include swimming or inflatables.
